HFSLIP で生成した DVD でのインストールで
STOP:0x000000A5(0x0000000B, .... が出る方は試してみてください・ω・
中身は 5.0.2195.6920 のパッチになります

昨年末31日も書き込みました ASRock A320M(AMD Socket AM4) という環境に RC15f の acpi.sys を差し換えて試してみましたが
やはり0x000000A5でした
このマザー、メーカーのQAではXPでも動くとか書いてるので何が違うのか難しいです
本当に、0X000000A5の後ろの数字は 0X0000000Bですか？

再度チェックしてみたところ0x00000003でした
見間違えです

念のため、パターンを追ってみましたが、XPと2000で 3の場合はほとんど違いがありませんでした

なんにせよ、インストールできないのは残念ですが
そのことが分かっただけでも収穫です

There is also this: https://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/IDT/IDT-High-Definition-Audio-Codec-Driver-51062250-for-XP.shtml It should also work. Can’t seem to find a manufacturers website for IDT.

1. install KB888111 and directX 9.0 and Media Player 9 and later.
(Some driver requires .Net 2.0SP2)
2. modify XP sound driver inf.
3. Install XP Driver.

How do I go about modding the XP driver .inf? Do I add in a Windows 2000 section? Remove NTx86? Any help greatly appreciated!

not “NTx86” but “.NTx86”
Windows 2000 can read simple section only.
In the driver I downloaded from the Dell Latitude E6530 Windows XP page from Dell’s website, it did not have NTx86 or .NTx86 references at all. I also ran the setup.exe, leaving everything as is and upon restart, it installed as the device is listed in the Device Manager with no yellow !, but I don’t have the taskbar icon for sound and the IDT control panel cannot be opened due to a “An error occurerd while Windows was working with the Control Panel file C:\WINNT\system32\idtsg.cpl” although the associated Andrea Noise Cancellation applet can be. Hi! I was wondering if it is possible to get ACPI working for Windows 2000 under an InsydeH2O BIOS. Despite integrating your modded ACPI driver (which works with my Dell Latitude E6530) into the 2000 installation media, it still freezes at “Setup is starting Windows 2000”. Setup continues normally if I press F5 and choose Standard PC. SATA driver works fine, so SATA mode works as intended (no IDE mode needed). The laptop at hand is an Acer Aspire E1-531 with Intel Sandy Bridge processor/Graphics. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
