オリンピックの開会式のBSoD（ブルースクリーン）を再現してみた

オリンピックの開会式で使われたWindows XP Embeddedですが、ブルースクリーンで固まったとか。

A process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been
terminated.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any wondows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced startup options, and then
select Safe Mode.

画面を再現してみました。

たぶん、原因はこの辺りじゃないかな？

ウィンドウをクリックか、サイズ変更した時にWindows XPが応答を停止する、 または 多くのコンソール アプリケーションをWindows Server 2003 で実行すると、 STOP エラー メッセージ「 0x000000F4」を表示します。:

コンピュータに dual-core プロセッサまたは hyper-threading プロセッサがある場合、この問題が発生します。

    STOP CODEは、F4hだったのですか。
    このCodeであれば、なんでもありのPanicですね。para#1=03hとなると、、
